Teen Intervene: Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment for Substance Use (SBIRT) 3rd Edition

An effective tool for a variety of settings including schools, health care settings, juvenile justice settings, youth treatment centers, and mental health clinics, the third edition of Teen Intervene is an evidence-based program for adolescents with mild or moderate substance use disorders. Incorporating the stages of change model, motivational interviewing, and cognitive-behavioral therapy, the program has been expanded to offer a full screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment model and updated for compliance with DSM-5. Individual teen sessions cover all drugs with a special focus on alcohol, marijuana, and tobacco use.
