Living in Balance is an evidence-based program that draws from cognitive, behavioral, and experiential treatment approaches with a strong emphasis on relapse prevention. The program uses didactic education and instruction, written exercises, group process interaction through role-plays and discussion, relaxation and visualization exercises, and group-oriented recreational therapy exercises.

Listed on the National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP), meets DMS-5 classifications, this flexible program draws from cognitive-behavioral, experiential, and Twelve Step approaches to help clients achieve lifelong recovery.  Recovery Management Sessions is best used to help clients who already have a solid foundation in recovery to learn the skills that will help them thrive in ongoing recovery.

The curriculum includes:

Facilitator Guide  – designed to help you deliver the Living in Balance treatment program to multiple clients at the same time, the facilitator’s guide provides you with both the philosophical context for the curriculum and the practical, session-specific information you need to lead and assist clients in the recovery process

CD-ROM –all client materials are reproducible and provided on a CD-ROM, allowing you to print and use only what you need

Client Session Materials – twenty-five client sessions with over 780 pages of printable client worksheets
