Real Men Are Safe (REMAS) was developed by the National Institute on Drug Abuse‘s National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network (CTN) Gender Specific HIV Intervention Protocol Team. REMAS is a five-session group delivered intervention package designed to assist clients in substance abuse treatment reduce their HIV risk.
