A Guide to GPRA Data Collection Using Trauma-informed Interviewing Skills

 The purpose of this Guide is to provide insight on the application of a trauma-informed approach to the data collection interview that programs may consider integrating into their interview practices.

 
The Center for Behavioral Health Statistics and Quality (CBHSQ) funds the Grantee Data Technical Assistance (GDTA) contract to provide technical assistance (TA) and training for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) discretionary services grantees and project officers on the collection, management, and utilization of data. The project is designed to improve the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of grantee data and promote the use of data to improve practice, program design, and policy development.
